Propeller is a small company, with big ideas and ambitions that we are keen to develop.We want to create new productions and and explore new ways of presenting our work, and are always striving to create theatre of the highest calibre.
Propeller is also extending the reach of Pocket Propeller, now creating two productions every year, each to be toured for 6 weeks.
While we receive commercial income and Arts Council funding, we rely on additional private donations to reach our goals.
Propeller Props are our supporters – they mean the world to us and in appreciation of this wonderful help we have some exclusive and exciting perks to offer. Would you consider becoming a Propeller Prop? Your gift will benefit Propeller directly and what’s more, will release 100% match-funding from the Arts Council. If you are a UK tax payer we can also claim Gift Aid on your donation.
In recognition of your contribution to the company, we have a number of exclusive perks for our supporters:
Suggested gift £50 - £249 (As a single gift or as a monthly donation from £4.16 a month)
Add some oomph to our work - a gift of £50 will pay for a week’s hire of 5 musical instruments, £200 will cover the cost of printing the cast’s scripts.
In acknowledgement of your gift, your name will be included on the ‘Props’ page on the Propeller website.
You’ll also receive a Props e-newsletter, sent periodically, with exclusive behind-the-scenes news gossip, photos, interviews and competitions to win tickets and Propeller goodies.
Suggested gift £250 - £499 (As a single gift or as a monthly donation from £20.83 a month)
Getting closer to the action, a gift of £250 will pay for a costume, and £450 pays for a week’s sound equipment hire.
Acknowledgement of your donation will be made by including your name on the ‘Props’ page both online and in the Main Tour programme,. You will receive the Props newsletter and be invited on a pre-show backstage tour and to meet the cast.
Suggested gift £500 - £1,499 (From £41.66 a month)
Contribute to Propeller’s inventiveness - £500 could buy a wonderful instrument like a waterphone, £850 will pay for a piano to be modified to create original sound effects, while £1,200 covers the costs of a week’s special lighting hire.. Your gift will be given the same recognition as that of a Shiny Prop and, in addition, Nifty Props may observe a rehearsal and meet Artistic Director, Edward Hall, and his team.
Propeller’s Development Manager will be on hand for Nifty Props to organise ticket bookings and answer questions about your theatre visit.
Suggested Gift £1,500 and above
Top Props will have a considerable and highly appreciated impact on Propeller. A gift of £1,650 would cover the cost of one week’s rehearsal room hire, £2,500 pays for the extensive education packs produced for two shows, while £6,000 is our entire annual spend on props.
At this high-level of support, Top Props will have access to the perks offered to a Nifty Prop and be invited to become more closely involved with Propeller. This will include invitations to additional rehearsals, production meetings and run-throughs, regular contact with the company and a warm welcome to join Propeller on our overseas trips. Top Props will be included in social events with Edward Hall and team throughout the year.
